80 to 10 in 16 hours

Yea, it has been 80˚ here in Charlotte for the last two days. We leave this evening to drive right into the center of the ice storm blanketing the Midwest.

The National Weather Service posted ice and winter storm warnings Tuesday for parts of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois.

About an inch of ice was expected over parts of Iowa, followed by up to 5 inches of sleet and snow. "It's a pretty good ice-maker," said Frank Boksa, a weather service forecaster.

We’re doing a conference in Davenport, IA this week to mobilize prayer for the coming caucus. Iowa voters will be the first in the nation to go to the polls on January 3rd. In spite of some candidates downplaying the role of Iowa in the process, every presidential hopeful and their brother is stumping the ice covered farmland right now.

Please pray for the Bound4LIFE team as we drive through some pretty nasty weather in the next few days. Pray for protection on the road and alertness for the drivers.
